Substack has launched the Creator Accelerator Fund, a $20 million initiative designed to attract creators willing to migrate their paid subscribers from platforms like Patreon, Memberful, Circle, and others.
The program ensures participants retain their current revenue while offering additional benefits to fuel business growth, marking a bold move to solidify Substack’s position in the creator economy.
What’s Included?
- Revenue Guarantee: Substack promises creators will earn at least as much as they did on their previous platform. If annual revenue falls short, the fund will cover the difference, providing a safety net during the transition.
- Personalized Support: Each participant receives a curator from Substack’s Partnerships team to assist with subscriber migration, publication setup, and growth strategies.
- Beta Access: Creators can test new tools in beta, offer feedback, and help shape future enhancements, giving them a hands-on role in platform development.

Who Can Participate?
The program is open to U.S.-based creators earning at least $2,000 monthly from their current platforms. Applications are now live, with responses expected within a month. However, the program will close once the desired number of creators is reached, so early applications are encouraged.
This initiative reflects Substack’s commitment to empowering creators, though its exclusivity to U.S. residents and revenue threshold may limit its reach. Still, for eligible creators, it offers a compelling opportunity to transition securely while tapping into Substack’s growth ecosystem.
