Gemini Connects 14 More Apps—but Disconnecting Does Not Erase Its Copy

Google’s September 23, 2026 rollout announcement introduced 14 more Connected Apps for Gemini, including Airtable, Linear, monday.com, PandaDoc, Wispr AI and Zoho. Eligible users can connect a service in Gemini settings, invoke it with an @ mention or ask for it by name. The additions are rolling out gradually, so eligibility does not mean an app has appeared in every account yet.
Availability and deletion have different limits. In its September 25 coverage, Notebookcheck counted 10 additions initially restricted to the United States and noted that disconnecting a service does not delete information already saved in Gemini Apps Activity. Removing access, clearing the Gemini record and deleting anything the other service received are separate actions.
Which connections are available where?
The additions span productivity, creative work and consumer services. Google’s Connected Apps availability matrix lists the region, language, age and Google Account requirements for each one. All the additions in this rollout require English and an adult user. In the reference below, “personal” means the Google Account used to sign in to Gemini; it does not describe the account a person holds with the connected service.
Each entry also identifies the possible locations of exchanged information as “Gemini/provider.” That is a conditional distinction, not a claim that Gemini copies an entire account: relevant exchanges can remain in Gemini Apps Activity when Keep Activity is on, while a provider may retain information Gemini actually shared with it under that provider’s policies. A connection that was never used may have no such exchange to remove.
- Airtable: Search and manage bases and records. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Linear: Create and track issues and project cycles. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- monday.com: Track projects, sales pipelines and leads. Region: where both services operate. Language: English. Google Account: personal, work or school. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- PandaDoc: Search, create, update and send documents. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Wispr AI: Search and summarize recorded meetings and notes. Region: where both services operate. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Zoho: Work with Bigin, CRM, Desk, Mail and Projects. Region: India. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Adobe: Work with creative products including Lightroom and Photoshop. Region: where Gemini and the relevant Adobe app operate. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Picsart: Create and edit media. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Squarespace: Build and manage websites and content. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Webflow: Edit site design and CMS content. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Apartments.com: Search commercial properties and market information. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Experian: Monitor a credit score and inspect report factors. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- Peloton: Find and schedule classes or plan training. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
- SeatGeek: Find events and ticket listings. Region: US. Language: English. Google Account: personal. Possible records: Gemini/provider.
The distinction is consequential for workplace use. Among the newly listed productivity connections, monday.com accepts work and school Google Accounts; Airtable, Linear, PandaDoc, Wispr AI and the Zoho connections specify a personal Google Account. A company’s subscription to one of those services therefore does not, by itself, make its Gemini connection available through employees’ managed Google Accounts. Region is a separate gate: Zoho is listed for India, while the broadly listed services still depend on support for both Gemini and the provider.
What remains after an app is disconnected?
Turning off a connection stops Gemini from using that app through the connection. It does not reach back into saved Gemini conversations and remove material that appeared there earlier. Deleting an item inside the provider’s service likewise does not automatically clear a copy of information already present in Gemini Apps Activity.
The boundary works in the other direction as well. Gemini may send information to a connected provider to complete a request, and the provider handles what it receives under its own policies. Deleting a Gemini activity entry does not remove a document, message or other data retained by that provider. The two locations can hold different information: a Gemini conversation may contain a summary of a record, for example, without containing the provider’s full underlying database.
How to clean up both sides
The cleanup sequence depends on what a particular request exchanged or created. Disconnecting prevents further use of the connection; deletion then has to be handled in each location where relevant information remains. A request that only retrieved an answer may call for different provider-side action from one that created or changed a document.
- In Gemini, open Connected Apps from Settings & help, find the service and turn its connection off. If Connected Apps is nested under Personal Intelligence in the interface, open it there instead.
- Open Gemini Apps Activity through Gemini’s Activity control, or visit the Gemini section of Google My Activity. Delete the relevant activity items or conversations. The activity page also offers deletion by time period or for all time.
- In the connected service, locate any information Gemini shared or created there and use that provider’s deletion controls where applicable. Its own retention rules govern data it received; removing the Gemini conversation cannot perform this step for it.
Keep Activity affects future access as well as saved records. Most Connected Apps are unavailable when that setting is off, although certain Android calling, messaging and device functions are exceptions. Turning Keep Activity off is therefore a different choice from disconnecting one service or deleting selected past activity. For a managed Google Account, an organization’s administrator may control the available activity settings.
The rollout remains gradual, and the listed country and account requirements define who can expect each connection to appear. The deletion consequence is already clear: disconnecting an app leaves prior Gemini activity in place, while deleting that activity leaves any information held by the provider subject to the provider’s own controls.
