TikTok Creator Rewards Program Eligible Countries in 2026

TikTok Creator Rewards Program Eligible Countries in 2026

The TikTok Creator Rewards Program eligible countries publicly confirmed as of July 26, 2026, are the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, and Mexico. Mexico became a new market on October 1, 2025, while TikTok named the other seven markets as existing participants in the same announcement (TikTok’s Mexico launch announcement).

Location is only the first filter. TikTok’s published requirements generally include being at least 18, using a personal account in good standing, having at least 10,000 followers, recording at least 100,000 video views in the previous 30 days, and publishing original, high-quality videos longer than one minute. The final practical check is the Monetization area inside TikTok Studio, because the program is available only where TikTok has enabled it (TikTok’s official program requirements).

Which countries are confirmed for Creator Rewards?

The current public list for the standard video-based program is:

  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • Germany
  • France
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Brazil
  • Mexico

TikTok originally identified Brazil, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, the UK, and the US when it expanded the Creativity Program Beta. The company later took that beta out of testing and introduced the Creator Rewards Program, which is why older articles often use a different name (TikTok’s original seven-market announcement).

Mexico was added later. TikTok’s October 2025 announcement says eligible Mexican creators could begin receiving rewards from October 1 and explicitly describes Mexico as joining the United States, England, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, and Brazil. Independent coverage from WIRED en Español confirmed the launch date and the same seven existing markets.

Do not automatically add Canada, Australia, Spain, Italy, or other countries because they appear in lists for different TikTok monetization products. Video Gifts, TikTok One, Series, TikTok Shop tools, and Effect Creator Rewards have separate rules and geographic coverage. Access to one feature does not prove access to Creator Rewards.

Why online country lists disagree

The main source of confusion is TikTok’s changing program names. The Creator Fund is no longer the current view-based program for this purpose; TikTok says it has been replaced by Creator Rewards, which is built around original videos of at least one minute (TikTok’s explanation of the program change).

Older articles may describe the Creator Fund or Creativity Program Beta rather than the current product. Other pages combine several forms of monetization under the phrase “TikTok creator rewards.” The safest interpretation is therefore “publicly confirmed markets for the standard Creator Rewards Program,” not “every country where a TikTok creator can earn money.”

TikTok also presents eligibility at the account level. A general country list can be useful for orientation, but it cannot confirm that a specific account has access, especially when local requirements, account status, or payment checks differ.

What eligibility requirements apply beyond location?

Meeting the country requirement does not guarantee acceptance. TikTok’s published criteria specify an age threshold, follower and recent-view thresholds, a personal account, good standing, and compliance with the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. The thresholds listed in TikTok’s program announcement are at least 18 years old, at least 10,000 followers, and at least 100,000 video views during the previous 30 days.

The account must also be personal rather than a Business Account, public, and associated with an eligible residence. TikTok’s Mexico launch announcement states these conditions directly for Mexican creators, including the requirement to live in Mexico and follow the platform’s rules.

These numbers are a minimum filter, not a promise of payment. TikTok may also review account integrity, originality, policy compliance, payment information, and tax details. If you have the required audience size but no Creator Rewards option, the cause may be regional availability, account type, account status, or another localized condition.

How to check eligibility in TikTok Studio

TikTok Studio eligibility workflow checking account and audience requirements

The most reliable check takes place inside the account that will receive the money. TikTok’s program announcement says Creator Rewards is available through the in-app creator tools, while its Mexico guidance directs creators to TikTok Studio for registration.

  1. Open TikTok and go to your profile.
  2. Open the Menu, then select TikTok Studio.
  3. Enter Monetization.
  4. Look for Creator Rewards Program and open the eligibility or application screen.
  5. Review the country, account, audience, content, payment, and tax conditions shown for your account.

If Creator Rewards does not appear, do not treat a VPN, foreign SIM card, or new payment account as a legitimate solution. The program requires an eligible residence and accurate account information. Misrepresenting location can create verification, tax, payout, and account-integrity problems.

What videos qualify for rewards?

The program is designed for original videos that are at least one minute long. TikTok describes its rewards formula as taking account of originality, play duration, search value, and audience engagement. A video can pass the length requirement and still earn little or nothing if viewers leave quickly, the material is reused, or the content does not satisfy the program’s quality and policy rules.

Qualified views are not identical to the total number displayed on a video. TikTok provides separate dashboard data for qualified views, estimated rewards, and video-level RPM, so creators should use those figures instead of multiplying total views by an unofficial rate.

For planning, choose formats that can sustain attention beyond 60 seconds: tutorials, explainers, reviews, documented processes, or commentary with genuine original analysis. A one-minute runtime by itself is only a technical condition, not a monetization strategy.

How TikTok calculates rewards

TikTok does not publish a fixed universal rate per 1,000 views. The company says the formula is influenced by originality, watch time and completion, search value, engagement, and the advertising value of the audience. Two videos with the same view count can therefore produce different rewards.

Search value is one reason to build around a clearly defined audience question. TikTok says search value reflects the relationship between content and popular search terms. A practical workflow is to identify a specific question, produce an original answer, use accurate wording, and then review retention and qualified-view data after publication.

Treat earnings screenshots and unofficial RPM tables cautiously. They may reflect a particular country, audience mix, period, niche, or account status. The estimated rewards shown in your own dashboard are more relevant than a global average, but they are still variable income rather than a guaranteed rate.

What creators in unsupported countries can do

Creator comparing alternative TikTok monetization options outside Creator Rewards

If your country is not on the confirmed list and Creator Rewards is absent from TikTok Studio, viewers from the United States or United Kingdom do not make your account eligible. The creator’s account location and the audience’s geography are separate issues.

You can instead evaluate other monetization tools, each against its own regional rules:

  • Brand partnerships and sponsored content;
  • TikTok One or Creator Marketplace collaborations;
  • LIVE Gifts and subscriptions where enabled;
  • TikTok Shop affiliate activity where available;
  • Paid digital products, memberships, courses, or services outside TikTok.

These alternatives may be more appropriate when the audience is concentrated in an unsupported market. They also reduce reliance on an opaque per-view formula. Verify each product separately: availability of one monetization feature does not imply availability of all the others.

Common mistakes that can block an application

The first mistake is confusing a Business Account with a personal creator account. TikTok’s standard Creator Rewards criteria specify a personal account, so account type should be checked before you redesign a content plan around platform payouts.

Another mistake is counting every view toward the 100,000-view threshold. The threshold covers the previous 30 days, and the program later applies additional rules to qualified views and eligible videos. Keep a rolling record of followers, recent public views, public posts, and policy notices rather than relying only on lifetime totals.

Reused clips, compilations with minimal transformation, unlicensed material, misleading claims, and artificial traffic can also undermine eligibility. Numeric thresholds do not override TikTok’s originality and policy requirements.

Finally, do not build a financial forecast around a promised RPM. Use the dashboard’s qualified views and estimated rewards, set aside money for applicable taxes, and treat platform rewards as variable income.

The practical answer for creators in 2026

On the current public record, the standard Creator Rewards Program is confirmed in eight countries: the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, and Mexico. Mexico is the latest clearly documented addition, announced for October 1, 2025. The reviewed official and independent sources do not confirm a broader 2026 expansion.

If you live in one of those markets, open TikTok Studio and check Monetization before changing your content strategy. If the feature is available, verify the account and audience thresholds, prepare original videos longer than one minute, provide accurate payment and tax information, and use qualified-view analytics to evaluate performance. If it is unavailable, build around the monetization products actually shown in your account instead of attempting location workarounds.
