Apart from their shared status as beloved musicians, Olivia Rodrigo and Grimes also share a disdain for a particular type of man.

During a recent Q&A video for Netflix, Olivia Rodrigo, known for her hit 'Driver's License', displayed some of her favorite tank tops from her worldwide Guts tour. Among them, she came across one that succinctly stated 'dump him'.

Besides paying homage to Britney Spears, the 'dump him' shirt led Olivia Rodrigo to reveal her dating deal-breaker. She explained:

"This is a very oddly specific question that I ask guys on first dates," the singer began. "I always ask them if they think that they would want to go to space."

"And if they say yes, I don't date them," she continued. "I just think if you wanna go to space, you're a little too full of yourself. I think it's just weird."

Enter Grimes, who has firsthand experience dating someone with dreams of space travel. She responded on X (formerly Twitter) to a clip of Rodrigo's interview, writing, "It's true. Only women should be going to space."

Fans were quick to catch the irony, interpreting Grimes' comment as a playful jab at her former partner, Elon Musk, known for his ambitions in space exploration through his company SpaceX.

The former couple, Grimes and Elon Musk, reportedly started dating in 2018 and went on to have three children together. Musk has been outspoken about his aspirations for space exploration, particularly his goal of colonizing Mars.

"I guess she'd know having personal experience with that type of man," one user commented on X in response to Grimes' agreement with Rodrigo.

"Neil Armstrong would have zero rizz in 2024," another user humorously remarked, suggesting that even the first man on the Moon might not fare well in today's dating scene.

"The ancient texts foretold this: boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider," another chimed in, making a playful nod to the old children's rhyme while commenting on the perceived overconfidence of men interested in space travel.

Who knew wanting to go to space would be the new dating ick?
