Google has rolled out its advanced conversational AI Mode search feature to 180 countries, significantly broadening its reach from its previous availability in the United States, United Kingdom, and India.
Currently, the feature supports only English, and countries within the European Union are excluded due to stringent data and AI regulations.
Alongside this geographic expansion, Google has introduced its first agent-like capability in AI Mode. Users in the U.S. can now discover and book restaurant tables directly through search results via platforms like OpenTable and Resy.
Future updates are expected to include ticket bookings and service reservations. This booking functionality is currently exclusive to subscribers of the paid Google AI Ultra plan.
