ElevenLabs Launches Music Marketplace: Creators Can Now Sell, Remix, and License AI-Generated Tracks

News image

In another major step toward mainstreaming AI music, ElevenLabs has officially opened its Music Marketplace inside the ElevenCreative platform. The new feature gives creators a direct, built-in way to publish, distribute, and monetize original tracks made with ElevenLabs’ own AI music model — turning what used to be experimental prompts into real revenue streams.

Only music generated using ElevenLabs’ native music model (ElevenCreative) is eligible for the marketplace. Once creators finish a track, they can publish it instantly to a growing public catalog that others can browse by genre, mood, or tempo. From there, the community — and businesses — can download the track, remix it into new projects, or license it for commercial use.

Creators earn money every time their work is used. The platform handles distribution, licensing, and payouts automatically, with no need for individual negotiations or middlemen.

Three Simple Commercial Licensing Tiers

To make adoption frictionless, ElevenLabs offers three clear usage tiers:

  • Social Media — Ideal for YouTube videos, podcasts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other online content
  • Paid Marketing — Designed for advertisements, brand campaigns, client projects, and promotional videos
  • Offline — Built for games, apps, live events, conferences, in-store playback, and physical activations

All licenses are pre-cleared for commercial use, giving buyers immediate peace of mind and creators instant monetization.

Building on Proven Success: $11 Million Already Paid Out

ElevenLabs is extending the exact model that already proved wildly successful with voices. Through its Voice Marketplace, the company has paid out more than $11 million to voice creators. With nearly 14 million songs already generated using the music model, the team is confident the Music Marketplace will replicate — and potentially exceed — that momentum.

One of the first high-profile creators on the platform is award-winning producer and songwriter Patrick Jordan-Patrikios, whose credits include Sia, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, and Little Mix. He said:

“What excites me about the Music Marketplace is that it opens that world up to everyone. Whether you are a Grammy nominee or making music in your bedroom, you now have access to a global ecosystem where your work can be discovered, remixed, and monetized instantly.”

A Clean Alternative in a Complicated Landscape

The timing is notable. The Music Marketplace launches just days after the first U.S. federal criminal conviction for AI-assisted music streaming fraud, where a man was ordered to forfeit over $8 million for bot-streaming fake AI tracks. ElevenLabs’ approach offers the opposite: a fully transparent, platform-controlled ecosystem where every use is tracked, licensed, and paid for legitimately.

For independent creators, this removes the biggest historical barrier to AI music — lack of distribution and monetization paths. For brands, marketers, and developers, it provides an ever-growing library of high-quality, rights-cleared AI tracks that can be used immediately.

The catalog is already live and expanding rapidly. Creators can start generating, publishing, and earning today at elevenlabs.io/music.

ElevenLabs isn’t just building better AI voices and music — it’s building the entire economy around them. With the Music Marketplace now open, the company has created one of the first true “creator-to-creator” marketplaces for AI audio, proving that artificial intelligence can generate not only content, but also sustainable careers.
