Today, Elon Musk’s company officially launched Starlink satellite internet services in Kazakhstan, bringing high-speed internet access to residents via a network of low-Earth-orbit satellites.

This technology is particularly transformative for remote areas, where traditional connectivity has been limited.

The head of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Digital Development announced that all citizens will be able to legally use Starlink starting in the third quarter of 2025. He emphasized that purchasing and using the terminals is now fully permitted under local laws, addressing previous risks of fines for unauthorized use of the service.
