PayPal co-founder and Silicon Valley heavyweight Peter Thiel has taken a significant stake in BitMine Immersion Technologies, owning 5.094 million shares —equating to 9.1% of the company — according to his recent SEC filing. This move positions him among the largest shareholders of the firm.
Listed on the NYSE under the ticker BMNR, BitMine previously focused on mining but has pivoted to amassing Ethereum reserves.
