How to Write a Blog Post That Actually Gets Seen

Hello!
Scouring the internet for tips on boosting SEO will give you a thousand different pages, all of which are very general and don’t really offer much in the way of real, actionable advice. For example, take keywords.

This is what you should actually do with keywords…
Keywords are how a search engine like Google can find content and are in many ways the foundation of SEO. To find the right keywords to use, utilize Google’s keyword tool to come up with a list of keywords related to your field.
Then edit out anything not specifically relating to your business or that has high competition. Go with long tailed keywords, meaning those with at least three or four words and that are very specific. What you will end up with is a targeted list of keywords that can actually help you gain visibility.
Content is formatted for SEO…

Blogs should start at 300 words and go up from there. Anything less and Google will consider the content not large enough to be of any consequence. Finally, break up information into smaller sections, so that it is easy to skim down and find a particular bit of information.
Search engines are built knowing that people don’t necessarily read an entire blog post, and therefore reward those posts that make it easy for people to browse.
