American Men Fall Short in Global Penis Size Rankings, According to World Map

While it's not officially a competition, the age-old male concern over size remains significant.

'Size matters' is said to be more crucial to men than to women, with men also placing higher importance on girth and circumference.

However, both American and British men might feel let down to discover that their measurements don't meet the global standard when compared internationally.

An extensive map from Data Pandas, known for its diverse datasets on health, economics, and demographics, has unveiled which countries have the largest and smallest penis sizes worldwide - and both the US and UK fall well outside the top 50, let alone the top 10.

The data indicates that the average erect penis length in the US is 14.15cm (slightly over five-and-a-half inches), placing it at number 68 on the global rankings.

The US didn't fare so well compared to other countries

Several countries outperform the United States in penis size, as per recent global rankings. Australia ranks at number 20 with an average of 6.18 inches, followed by the Netherlands (6.14 inches), France (6.06 inches), Sweden (6.04 inches), Belgium (5.96 inches), Austria (5.78 inches), Germany (5.70 inches), the UK (5.62 inches), and Switzerland (5.61 inches).

New Zealand also made a strong showing, securing the 16th spot with an average of 6.21 inches. Surprisingly, Canada ranks even lower than the US, at position 74 with an average of 5.48 inches.

However, these figures are dwarfed by the leaders in the rankings: Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, which top the list with averages of 7.06 inches and 7.05 inches respectively, with Ecuador in third at 6.92 inches.

The data suggests that countries from South America, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East tend to have the largest average penis sizes, while Southeast and East Asia generally rank at the lower end of the spectrum.

Apparently, men care more than women about size

Thailand Ranks Last in Global Penis Size Study

Thailand placed last in the global rankings with an average penis size of 3.71 inches, closely followed by North Korea and Cambodia at 3.77 inches and 3.87 inches respectively.

Data Pandas formulated these rankings using data from a 2014 BJUI report on penile size, which analyzed measurements from approximately 50 participants per country. The study excluded men with erectile dysfunction, congenital penile abnormalities, or those who had expressed concerns about their penis size. However, many measurements were self-reported, which introduces the possibility of exaggeration.

Despite the focus on size in these rankings, only 21% of 375 women in another study considered length to be important, contrasting with men, who are generally more fixated on size and may even lie about it, according to additional research.
