Chinese Robotaxis Expand Globally
China’s tech giant Baidu is accelerating the global rollout of its Apollo Go robotaxi service, signaling a bold push to dominate the autonomous vehicle market.

Baidu’s global expansion is already gaining momentum. In March 2025, the company deployed 100 autonomous vehicles in Dubai, with plans to scale its fleet to 1,000 by 2028.

These efforts build on Apollo Go’s established success in China, where the service has been operating in major cities since 2022, offering rides at an affordable starting price of $0.55.
