Blake Lively has ended her social media hiatus for the first time since initiating legal action against Justin Baldoni to comment on the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles.
These fires have led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands, becoming the most severe wildfire in the history of Los Angeles County. They have caused at least five fatalities and obliterated more than 1,000 buildings.
The blaze has engulfed over 17,000 acres without any containment, and the destruction has claimed the homes of numerous celebrities.
The Palisades fire has caused thousands of evacuations
California Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency for the affected area and has issued an executive order to aid those impacted by the wildfires, stating, "We are putting all available resources behind fighting these wildfires, including leveraging local and federal assets. California has thousands of boots on the ground working to combat these fires."
In an effort to disseminate resource information, Blake Lively has returned to her Instagram story after weeks of silence to address 'everyone affected by the Los Angeles fires'. Her post featured a link to a Google Docs spreadsheet compiled by the Mutual Aid LA Network (MALAN), which is continuously updated with numerous resources for those in need. This document includes information on shelters, animal boarding, and critical updates about the wildfires.

In a subsequent post, Blake Lively elaborated, "MALAN is regularly updating this Google sheet with mutual aid resources for folks in LA. There's info on shelters, free PPE, food, animal rescues, and more. If you have additional resources, please share them with @mutualaidla."
Lively joins a list of celebrities speaking out about the wildfires, with Adam Brody, Paris Hilton, and Mandy Moore among those who have lost their homes due to the fires. Meanwhile, "Breaking Bad" actor Aaron Paul has made a single post on his Instagram profile to express his sorrow, writing: "Absolutly [sic] devastated to see everything on fire."
Celebrities are among those who have been displaced
Aaron Paul continued his message, saying, "To all of my friends who have lost their homes during this tragedy I am so sorry. My heart aches for all of the kids who can no longer go to school because there's no schools to go to. It's all so heartbreaking. Thank you to all of the brave men and women fighting these fires. We are lucky to have you. Stay safe everyone."
Paris Hilton also shared her grief after seeing her Malibu home destroyed on television, stating she was 'heartbroken beyond words'.
Blake Lively's recent post is her first social media activity since she filed a lawsuit against her "It Ends With Us" co-star, Justin Baldoni, whom she accuses of 'unprofessional, and sexually inappropriate behavior' on set. Baldoni has rejected these allegations.
