Shortwave is the AI agent app for business communications. Most people's experience with AI today involves copy & pasting content back and forth from ChatGPT, or using simple AI features sprinkled into legacy apps. Not only are these terrible user experiences -- they're severely limiting to the the transformative potential of AI. We see an opportunity to build a new kind of communications app -- one designed from the ground up with AI at its core, where our entire UX is optimized for effective human-AI collaboration. Our goal is to unlock 10x (or greater) productivity gains by bringing cutting edge AI together with all of a user's business communications in a single app. With Shortwave, users can give the AI access to all of their data and then take action while still maintaining total control over what the AI does.
