Now, yet another performer has come forward, sharing the 'outrageous' amount she earns from her work. Who is she, and how much does she make?
A Reddit post attributed to Gigi Dior stated: "In my first year of full-time work in the porn industry, I actually ended up losing money. However, I see it as an investment in both the business and myself. This year, I anticipate making a small profit, but it won’t exceed $20,000."
The post went on to say: "I've observed the potential earnings of others, and there's certainly a fortune to be made. I'm just not at that level yet.
"As for being lesser-known, I'd say I fall into that category. It's an ongoing battle and requires relentless effort. You must work diligently and remain persistent, while also planning and managing finances wisely. That's why we see so many entering and leaving the industry.
"Some earn a lot, meet someone special, get married, or simply move on, but many don't approach it with a business mindset."
"They believe they can just jump in, make a fortune, and then exit. That's the reality for maybe the top 0.1%. Congratulations to them. I'm not there yet, but I'm working towards it."
Another post on the same social media account addresses a query about regrets concerning her entry into the adult entertainment industry:
"It varies day by day! Some days are fantastic, everything aligns perfectly. Those are the good days.
"On others, it's quite disappointing, and I find myself questioning my choices. In that sense, it's no different from any other job I've had."
