"But all of the outside investment — billions of dollars from a range of tech companies and venture-capital firms — goes directly into the for-profit, which also hires the company’s employees."\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>The latest executive departures are far from the first upper talent OpenAI has lost ever since last year's power struggle, which saw Altman be fired, only to be rehired five days later.
