All of it was allowed to continue because it was profitable.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>&ldquo;A Little Less Fraud&rdquo; Was the Official Goal\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>Instead of aiming for zero tolerance, Meta executives in 2024 signed off on a multi-year &ldquo;plan&rdquo; to gradually reduce scam-related revenue from \u003Cstrong>10.1% in 2024\u003C/strong>&nbsp;to \u003Cstrong>7.3% by the end of 2025\u003C/strong>, then \u003Cstrong>6% in 2026\u003C/strong>&nbsp;and \u003Cstrong>5.8% in 2027\u003C/strong>.
