There are many factors that should influence your decision on whether to estimate bugs and what approach to use, if so. The most important of these factors are the size of the team and the company.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Ch4>Conclusion\u003C/h4>\n\n\u003Cp>Very logical reasons back both sides of the argument; to estimate or not to estimate.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>For:\u003C/strong> At least one engineer knows the exact source of the bug and how to fix it.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Against:\u003C/strong> Some bugs are so obscure that it’s hard to predict the time it will take to fix them.
