If YouTube is the qualifying platform, use the Google Account connected to the channel or an account authorized to manage it.\u003C/p>\u003Col>\u003Cli>Go to the Search profile claim flow and sign in with the intended Google Account.\u003C/li>\u003Cli>Search for the creator’s name or handle and check for an existing profile.\u003C/li>\u003Cli>Sign in to at least one qualifying YouTube, Instagram, X or TikTok account. This connection verifies your relationship to the public identity.\u003C/li>\u003Cli>If an existing profile appears, inspect its linked accounts before claiming it.\u003C/li>\u003Cli>If no matching profile exists, add any other relevant platform accounts and create the new profile.\u003C/li>\u003C/ol>\u003Cp>The assigned profile handle follows the most-followed linked platform account. If that handle is unavailable, Google uses the handle from the next most-followed platform, so confirm the resulting profile address instead of assuming it will match your preferred username.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>Manage the page without treating it as an SEO control\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>After claiming the page, you can reach it through the profile account area on the web or through “Your Search profile” under your avatar in the Google app. The controls cover the profile image, bio, website and social links, connected platforms, their display order and content selected for prominence.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Content from a newly linked social account is added automatically. It does not promote that item in ordinary results for unrelated searches.
